A genuinely engaging and challenging Rhythm Game

I’m not BTS Fangirl. I enjoy their music but I’m not a huge k-pop stan or anything. However, I am in fact a huge rhythm game junkie. So upon playing this, I was genuinely surprised at how much fun the game truly was. It’s not in my top 5, but it’s definitely in my top 10. Why of all things, a game catering towards the BTS audience ranks in my favorite rhythm games? Because of how engaging the game is. This is mainly due to the ranking system, a feature prominent in this company’s k-pop rhythm games. Not only is the system pretty balanced and fair to all players, but it’s competitive nature encourages you to keep raising your score and rank higher, and it’s ultimately satisfying when you do raise your rank up. The hard difficulty is the true star here as well. While easy and normal are quite slow on the uptake, hard mode takes it from 1-100 in a single snap. It’s that mode that keeps the gameplay fresh, and all in all actually engaging to play through, it’s something that really carries the game and is genuinely fun to play through. However...there is one issue I have, and that’s the lack of a proper tutorial. Sure, it’s easy to figure things out once it’s over, but the tutorial given is way too vague and doesn’t really explain every feature that’s important to the game, such as leveling up your cards and things. Overall, this game is a really fun experience, and whether you’re a BTS fan or not, it’s a fulfilling experience.

Awesome but need to learn a few things to get the game just right

I play this game as much as I can but as time passes normal mode has become a bit slow for me and boring. Hard mode is very fast and is what keeps me going with this game. For people who have struggles with the holding down on the buttons and it counts it as a miss, I had the same problem before, but I figured out that really the game wants you to make sure you hit every yellow button/dot thingy inside the yellow line which means you’re actually pressing it. Very short yellow lines usually are the same as the regular buttons. S and R cards do take a long time to get, so I recommend looking for achievements to go for that give you better cards, or save up your emeralds and diamonds which will have better card packs. I recently got an S card and an R card in the same day but my S card was useless because I already had the same one. Participating in events are usually where you can get better and higher level cards, though I can’t guarantee it will give you the one you are looking for since the cards I got were for older albums which I don’t play as much. I would like to request that the game creator add a few more solos since only the maknae line’s solos are there and a few songs have not been included in their albums.

AMAZING!

Can I just say, I can and do spend HOURS playing this game. It’s my favorite game. If I had to choose between any of my apps it would be this game and insta. Sure... it’s a little slow loading sometimes and every once in a while it will lag, but cmon, no app is “perfect” but this one is close. I love how challenging hard and normal mode is. (Love that there is also easy mode for beginners) I also love how you can buy passes, Headphones, cards, etc, with the items you win by playing, not buying with real money. Another thing I love sooo much is having the leaderboard and getting to challenge other people with your high scores. Last but not least, I love the achievement challenges. Such as playing songs to get so many army Bombs and unlocking prizes. It’s truly an amazing game. I only have one thing I wish y’all would do, that is putting songs they wrote, that aren’t in their albums, on the app. Like have a separate album just for them. Songs like, Ddang, oh! Happy day, etc. Then we could all love this app to the fullest. (Also I wish you guys would add ALL of the cyphers) Other than that this app is amazing and I recommend to army’s and non army’s. (I know it takes time to make all of these but srsly ddang is my fav song of all time, maybe in a future update?)
