Sims 3 is superior in many ways content wise compared to sims 4. I doubt anyone will dispute that. However sims 4 is far superior to sims 3 when it comes to loading and optimization. If you ever played sims 3 with all expansions and gamepacks you know how horrible the game would run after xx hours. I have origins and its downloaded.
