One of these attempts to catch it and finds out the wand, but it causes him to explode and kill people around him. Leilah and her minions arrive in the Abrams home and locate Pollard dying before the job is finished by Leilah. She then finds a second Inferni elf, Larika, who's stuck into the walls. The elves come they kill to learn more on the whereabouts of the wand. Montehugh and Kandomere come in the Abrams home upon the crime scene, and Kandomere understands Leilah has dropped the wand.
